The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo to Resign Before His Tenure for His Vice

Information available to Global News Channel indicates that the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be stepping down as Ghana's president to enable his vice, Dr. Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia to continue.

This is a long standing agenda of the president to help the running mate to continue as president and subsequently win NPP primaries. The question is, will this agenda help the party?

Already the party is disappointed about the performance of the president and his inability to close the cracks in the party. Pursuing this agenda will rather worsening the unity of the party and send them to opposition, according to one of the party executives.
