IHRC AFRICA LODGES COMPLAIN WITH FIFA ON ROLNADO's PENALTY AGAINST GHANA BLACK STARS

The International Human Rights Commission Africa Headquarters has written to Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) to investigate the conduct of the Referee who officiated Ghana - Portugal match last Thursday. This is contained in a letter sent to FIFA on Friday.
The commission also requested FIFA to cancel the penalty that was converted by Christiano Rolnado against Black Stars of Ghana. According to the Executive Secretary of the Commission in Africa, Prof. Michael Kwateng, the Commission received report after the match and sited incident of injustice behaviour on the part of the Referee which is a violation of the rules of the game.
The Commission believes that the conduct of the Referee will undermine the credibility of the tournament and the hard-earned reputation of FIFA but its action will restore the confidence of the players and the supporters of the tournament.
